PRO 13 yields 5M worth of Marijuana in Agusan Del Sur

The intensified campaign of Police Regional Office 13 against illegal drugs prompted the voluntary appearance of the number one value target marijuana cultivator in Loreto, Agusan Del Sur on August 2. Roberto Manlumisyon, 49, surrendered to the police station1, 100 grams of marijuana seeds worth P27,500 and 44,500 grams of marijuana stalks worth P5,562, 500. It can be recalled that on July 20, Manlumisyon also surrendered 320 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P176,000 and have pledged to cooperate in the fight against illegal drugs. “Since the implementation of the project TOKHANG or house visitations of suspected drug personalities, Caraga Region already recorded a total of 26,216 voluntary appearances. Among them, is Malumisyon,” PCSUPT Rolando B. Felix, Regional Director, said. Those seeds and stalks, now under the custody of the said station, were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory 13 for examination. Applauding Manlumisyon’s efforts, Felix encouraged the public to support the war against illegal drugs, stressing that the war against illegal drugs can only be won through the “Whole of nation approach”, whereby the government, civil society and the community would actively collaborate to attain the goal of a drug free Philippines.
