PNP Caraga celebrates 115th Police service Anniversary

Philippine National Police Caraga celebrated its 115th Police Service Anniversary last August 15with the theme “Hamon sa Pagbabago,Pinag ibayong Serbisyo” with PNP Chief Ronald M. Dela Rosa as the guest speaker.

The highlights of the celebration was the giving of awards to the police officers and PNP units in Caraga for their exemplary performances including the Local Government Unit, Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams, and Non-Government Organization for their contributions to PNP.

Agusan Del Sur PPO was awarded as best police office, Surigao Del Norte PPO as best component City police station, San Francisco MPS as the best municipal police station and the BCPO as the best women and children protection desk.

Special award was also given to Agusan Del Sur PPO for accounting the most number of loose firearms confiscated during election period.

Meanwhile, The BCPO was acknowledged to have the least number of election related incidents.
