Teacher suspended due to intimate relationship with student

A high school teacher in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte was suspended last August 14 after it was found out that he had a relationship with one of his students.

The said teacher is suspended for six months after the investigation of the committee of the Department of Education. The father of the victim complained about the closeness of his daughter and the teacher. After appealing the decision of the court, the teacher was proven guilty of simple misconduct.

Legal counseling was given to the suspect. The incident already happened in year 2008 when the suspect taught in one of the schools in Butuan City.
