The Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga will be launching the BROWN4Good Challenge campaign on September 7 at Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) Gymnasium, Butuan City.
DA Caraga OIC-Regional Executive Director Renato Manantan said that on the third year of the Be RICEponsible campaign, the DA is intensifying its promotion throughout the country through a social media propaganda dubbed as BROWN4Good Challenge.
Manantan also added that the challenge is open to all and will enlist the participation of all sectors including those in public service, media, education and health, students, farmers, and among others.
Manantan further disclosed that the BROWN4Good Challenge advocates the four goodness of Brown Rice–good for the body, good for the country, good for the farmers, and good for the less fortunate.
