6 drug suspects arrested in separate anti- illegal drug operations

Surigao Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Team (SPAIDSOT) led by PSINSP Erwin R. Cordano conducted two buy-bust operations at P-Anthurium, Burgos St., Surigao City last August 25.

Six suspects namely Banjo Pascua, aka”Botyok” 30, Marceliano Ali C. Tabacon III, aka”Sir Jun” 42, Bryan Lee C. Rana, 32, Ruphel Jose A. Edica, 30, Rogelio Besario and 1 minor were arrested.

Pascua and Tabacon both are listed in the Illegal Drugs Watchlist of Surigao Del Norte PPO.

The operations yielded nine sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 0.48 grams with Dangerous Drugs Board value of P5, 040.

The arrested suspects were temporarily detained at Surigao City Police Station while charges for Violations of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing in court.
