PESO Butuan conducts special recruitment

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Butuan City conducted a special recruitment in cooperation with ePerformax Contact Centers & BPO last August 25-26.

EPerformax is a Philippine-owned BPO company and a leader in the contact center industry and one of the first call centers in the Philippines since 2002. It has grown steadily over the years to over 2000 agents in Makati City and Cebu City.

For this event, the PESO partnered with ePerformax in order to see the amount and quality of talents and of those people who look for a brighter future. ePerformax was recognized by the Butuan City Council and the Butuan City Government for its contribution to provide jobs.

“Earlier I had few applicants and what I observed, most of them needs to improve when it comes of their confidence and we will require them to speak English all throughout the conversation,” said Arian Conrad Ga, recruitment officer.

“Earlier, I observed none of them can’t really do it needs more improvement but if they pass they will undergo initial interview and final interview and wants they pass we will endorse them to training and it’s a maximum of 15 weeks training,” He added

Almost 50 applicants in nearby areas of Butuan City participated in the said event.

Applicants who will pass the screening will go through a preliminary training program in Butuan City and will move to Manila for the leadership training.
