590K worth of Shabu seized

Another drug suspect was arrested by the police during the anti-illegal drugs operation through buy-bust on August 30 at Purok 4, Barangay 15, San Ignacio, Butuan City.

Chief Supt Rolando Felix, Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 Director, identified the suspect as Ronald Serrato Laoganas, legal age and a resident of the said barangay.

Seized from the suspect were seven (7) assorted-sized sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with street value of P590,000.00, several drug paraphernalia, one piece of P1,000.00 bill and ten pieces P1,000.00 bill bogus money as marked money.

Citing the record of the Police Regional Operations and Plans Division, a total of 345 persons were arrested; 19 suspects died in the law enforcement operations; and P39, 946,039.2 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated since the implementation of Project Double Barrel from July 1 to August 31, 2016 in Caraga region.

We will continue to intensify the conduct of operations against illegal drugs personalities not only concentrating on street pushers but also on High Value Targets listed in drug watch list,” Chief Supt Felix said.
