High-Value Targets in Surigao Del Norte Province Arrested

Two High-Value Targets in Surigao Del Norte were arrested in police operations last September 6.

Chief Superintendent Felix said Durante Antipasado, 39, and Marife Antipasado, 40, of General Luna, Surigao Del Norte were the targets of the police operations.

Suspects were arrested at Bus Terminal in Purok 1, Barangay Holy Redeemer, Butuan City by joint operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Surigao del Norte; Regional Maritime Unit (RMU) 13; and Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO).

Seized from the suspects were 10 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 86.52 grams and street value of 1,020,950.20 and several illegal drugs paraphernalia.

The CIDG 13 have identified the Antepasado’s as High-Value Targets. Durante is even listed as No. 1 in illegal drug watchlist in General Luna town, Siargao Island; No. 1 in target list in Lambat Sibat; and No. 1 priority target list in illegal drugs in Surigao Del Norte PPO.

Chief Superintendent Felix said, “Police Regional Office 13 will pursue its campaign against illegal drugs in Caraga region until it is eradicated”.
