FSUU conducts Emergency Awareness Workshop

Father Saturnino Urios University Medical-Dental Department conducted an Emergency Awareness Workshop last July 19 – 26 at FSUU CBE function hall. ​

The said workshop was participated by all FSUU employees and staff. ​

“This workshop aims to inform us employees on how to be prepared during calamities, man-made or natural,” said FSUU Nursing Clinical Instructor, Mary Lois Charity C. Elicano. ​

Different lectures were taught by the different departments of the city. ​The Philippine National Police (PNP) lectured about bomb threats and terrorist attack preparation. Furthermore, the Butuan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) Officials lectured about earthquakes, flood and typhoon preparation and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Butuan City Officials lectured about fire prevention.

​ Life-saving skills were also taught to the employees and staff like first-aid and CPR.
