FSUU holds ASEAN University Forum

Father Saturnino Urios University Business Administration Program (FSUU-BAP) together with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) held an ASEAN University Forum at AVR 1 last August 16.

BAP Dean Dr. Emiliano J. Lozano, formally opened the forum with her opening remarks.

The organizers invited three guest speakers for the said forum.

Arcily C. Gonzaga, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – CARAGA Senior Trade and Development Specialist discussed about the ASEAN Economic Community; Engr. Ramil A. Sanchez, Chief Education Program Specialist of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – CARAGA, talked about the challenges and opportunities for the Philippines Higher Education Sector; and Capt. Marco T. Publico of Philippine Military Academy lectured about the role of military forces in securing ASEAN communities.

An open forum was also conducted to clarify questions regarding the discussion of the guest speakers. ​

The Deputy Regional Director of PIA, Fryan E. Abkilan, ended the forum with his closing remarks. ​

The event featured the theme “Partnering for Change, Engaging the World.”
