Shooting incident in U-Turn KTV Bar; suspect still unidentified
A shooting incident recently occured at U-turn KTV Bar, Butuan City on Tuesday, August 15, 2PM.
The victim was identified as Jasper Atenta Cabilao, a resident of Purok 3A Barangay Ampayon, Butuan City.
According to a police report, the victim was with two other girls hanging out to drink . When they sat at their table the victim accidentally hit one of the person (suspect) next to their table with his elbow which started a fight. After the fight, Cabilao and his friends walked out of the bar but the suspect and his group were at the front door waiting and pointed a gun at him.
According to Police Senior Inspector Paul Tropezado Paden, OIC, Butuan City Police Station 1, Cabilao tried to grab the gun but the suspect pulled the trigger hitting the victim in the forearm and his left shoulder. Cabilao is currently confined in Butuan Doctor’s Hospital.
