2 Gang Leaders, 3 Minors arrested in Brgy. Maon

City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) together with the Butuan City Public Safety Company (BCPSC) operatives and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 13 conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation through the implementation of Search Warrant No. 1876-2017 against a gang last August 24 at Brgy. Maon, Butuan City.

The said operation resulted to the arrest of Anthony Pocallian Baylan aka “Bogoy”, leader of Rebel Dogs Gang, Antonio Alanano Ranoco Jr. aka “Kabayo”, assistant leader, Nelrose Douglas Walidje, 18 years old and 3 other minors.

"Pagka conduct namin nang search nakita namin yung mga plastic sachets ng suspected shabu, several pieces ng aluminum foil na pinag gamitan nila, 12 pieces ng empty sachets na parang binebenta nila at nag rerepack pa sila kasi may mga materials din kaming nakita like mga improvised tooter, improvised needle and so on,” said Deputy Station Commander,

Police Inspector Jayeward S. Dularte. Arrested suspects are now under the custody of Butuan City Police Station 1 (BCPS1).

"Pinaka ka number one concern ay pag eliminate sa illegal drugs, lalo na ngayon sa administration ng ating presidente very serious cya sa campain against illegal drugs," Dularte added.
